In the Hills area we have a variety of homes from ultra-modern through to heritage-listed ones and no matter the age or style of home, there is always confusion with what type of tile do I use in my bathrooms, bedroom, kitchen etc. There are so many shapes, sizes, patterns, colours and textures out there but it can be a costly exercise if you get it wrong. Stone, metal, terrazzo, clay and quartz are among the few types of tiles used for residential and commercial interiors. The most commonly used types of tile for flooring are ceramic, porcelain and natural stone.
