I've made it my mission to help as many people as possible because being a survivor of severe clinical depression myself, I know how easy it is to slip into negative thinking.

So at this time, we need to take exquisite care of ourselves, physically and most importantly, mentally.

I've listed some things we can do to care for ourselves and it starts by being choosy about what we allow our minds to ingest...

First of all... and this is super important...

  • TURN OFF the sensationalist media news channels
  • IGNORE or STAY OFF sensationalist social media feeds
  • If it hasn't come from the Federal or State governments, treat it as a rumour.
  • UNFOLLOW or SNOOZE social media "friends" that are spreading rumours, whinging or handing over the responsibility for their lives to the government/others.

Remember... we are each responsible for our own lives and how we choose to live it, even in these trying times.

Use the time you would have spent ingesting media garbage by...

Don’t overwhelm yourself with the scaremongering on social media and sensationalist news channels. Of course you want to stay informed so only read/watch/listen to official government announcements and highly reputable unbiased news channels (ie not commercial channels).

Use the time you would have spent on social media and watching rubbish news by looking for opportunities to be productive instead...
