Sydney Zoo is a zoo with a difference. Not only is it dedicated to caring for endangered wildlife but it's also committed to creating employment for Aboriginal people while working towards educating visitors on Indigenous culture, food and animal care.
It’s been 100 years since Sydney has had a new zoo and this 16.5ha, $45 million facility will not disappoint. Located at Western Sydney’s Bungarribee Park, development started in 2017 and is the dream job for Sydney Zoo managing director Jake Burgess.
