After a few years of living in Sydney for convenience, young Mark and Jane Tolhurst felt the need to rekindle their Aussie bush memories by living on acres close to their main business hub in Sydney.
It had to be somewhere they could run a small herd of cattle and their beloved polo horses. As lovers of water, albeit the sea or rivers, what better place to live and raise their children, Adam, 4, and Amanda, 2, than on the banks of the great Hawkesbury River, giving life to their property in dry times. I won’t mention the floods.
