Hannah Dodd is a Paralympic athlete, whose love of horses has literally changed her life. Having been born with rare congenital disorder Sacral Agenesis as well as markers of Spina Bifida, Hannah suffered from a young age, with multiple problems including renal failure and an unformed spine which caused extensive nerve damage.
After lengthy surgery and an extended recovery process at age 10, Hannah was left without feeling in her lower legs, impairing her ability to walk and limiting muscle power and balance. Six years later, Hannah contracted a virus in the lining of the frontal lobe of her brain, leaving her with limited peripheral vision and hearing, further impairing her balance.
