Urban Kitchen & Grill

Urban Kitchen presents a relaxed, modern atmosphere with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating to tempt diners. Its tasteful décor is minimalist and uncluttered, providing easy manoeuvring for shopping trolleys or strollers. It’s located in the Piazza, conveniently positioned for shopping lunches, catch-ups and bites before or after a movie. Wait staff are smiling, friendly and efficient, demonstrating good knowledge of the menu and its variances, and importantly — the table water was chilled! Its menu is well rounded, offering generous servings of a range of healthy options and classic meals. Hamburgers are attractively presented on wooden platters with baskets of chips. The grilled salmon had a lovely flavour, served with crunchy vegetables and a creamy garlic sauce. Urban Kitchen is fully licensed and BYO, with prices matching their décor and food. Overall, a good dining experience.

Lusso Tapas

“Sharing food with family and friends is one of our favourite things. Small plates to share flavours of the Mediterranean. Our menu is influenced by the essence of Spain, Turkey, Syria, Greece and Jordan. Our mothers have inspired the way we cook and eat. We wanted to share this with you, our loyal customers” — Nabil & George. Blink and you’ll walk straight past the entrance to Lusso Tapas, but a visit is definitely worthwhile. Its décor is contemporary with dark, moody lighting and splashes of luxe mixed with objets d’art from around the world. Its menu offers an interesting selection of main dishes; however, the real passion lies in its tapas. With over 30 dishes to choose from, these small, select plates are perfect for sharing with friends and family. The dishes are pricey, but are large of flavour and generously sized. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and provided excellent assistance in helping us choose dishes. Partnered with a refreshing Mojito, the restaurant’s reputation lived up to its name. Quiet for lunches, but recommend to book for dinner.
