Whether it’s cocktail hour, beer-o'clock or wine time, the emerging hospitality scene in greater Sydney means a cheeky tipple is just around the corner.
With small bars, vast beer gardens, family pubs, boozy brunch and cosy haunts to choose from, your new favourite drinking spot might be closer than you think. Here’s 8 local places to raise a glass and toast to your ‘local’.

Marsden Brewhouse
Opening its doors in April this year, this mega pub offers bars, lounges, family dining, a kid’s space and a two-level brewery, which will produce 15,000 barrels a year. Whether you’re looking for live music and good food or somewhere to catch up while the kids let loose in the amazing playground, the Brewhouse is worth a visit. It’s on the corner of Hawthorne Avenue & Richmond Rd, Marsden Park.
