Rosemary McDonald dreamed of building a home in the country that came straight from her imagination and her heart and that is exactly what she achieved with her Galston property.

A painting over 100 years old hangs in the entryway of this Galston cottage. The painting is a picture of the old Pears soap advertisement and was created by none other than the grandmother of the owner of the homestead, Rosemary McDonald.
In fact, there are a lot of familiar inclusions in Rosemary’s property that have been purposefully designed into her dream home.
